Very Rare, Classic Shortwave & Midwave Ultraviolet Fluorescent Combination Mineral Specimen from the Parker Shaft, Franklin, New Jersey, USA!
A Fairly Large "Parker Shaft Soup" Piece Featuring a Very Unusual Mix of UV & Daylight Minerals! At Least 9-10 Distinct Mineral Species Present, Several of Which are Type Locality Minerals!
*Note: ID's Listed are to the Best of My Ability Based on 15+ Years of Experience Specifically with Franklin Area Minerals, and They are Definitely Accurate for the Most Part. The UV Yellow/Cream Material Could Use Some Lab/Analytical Testing to Verify the Definitive ID(s), and It's also Possible that Some of the SW UV Red Material Could Be Roeblingite Rather than Axinite-Mn or Calcite too!
Excellent Coverage of Fluorescent Nasonite and/or Pectolite (Yellow/Cream SW & MW, Brightest MW), Willemite (Bright Green SW, MW & LW), Axinite-Mn / Manganaxinite (Bright Deep Red SW), Calcite (Bright Red SW), Clinohedrite (Bright Orange SW), Xonotlite (Duller Light to Deep Blue SW) & Potentially Others

Fluorescent Response Will Vary Based on Strength of Light Used, but Any Decent Light of the Proper Wavelength(s) Will Produce Similar Responses to the Pics!
Please Note: Fluorescent Minerals Require a Shortwave (SW), Midwave (MW) and/or Longwave (LW) Ultraviolet (UV) Light for the Fluorescent Response Shown in the Pictures! a Black Light is NOT a SW/MW/LW Light, although Some Rocks May also Show Under Black Light as well!
